Start at “Coming out” and roll your dice for a maximum of 12 spaces

Move the corresponding number of spaces shown on the dice.

Follow/complete the prompt you’ve landed on.

Collect Pink Pounds for completing the prompt and then roll again to move through the board.

If you find yourself on "Queer community chest", pull a card from the "Queer community chest" tab on this website

if you land on a “roll to read the world” prompt, roll a D6 and use the key on the left of the board to decide the location! Roll: 1 - Europe, 2 - North America (not USA), 3 - South America , 4 - Asia, 5 - Africa, 6 - Oceania. There are two prompts in the game. One is the setting, so you would need to read a queer book set in that region. The other is the author's heritage, so you will need to read an author whose background is from that region.

If you land on a “social prompt”, complete this on social media and/or via the score form on the website.

If you find yourself in a “reading slump”, roll a double/12 within 3 turns to move again or lose £50.

If you end up in a "safe space", simply roll again.

Reminder: the lesbian flag means at least one POV character has to identify as a lesbian, and the gay flag means one POV character has to identify as gay (or the author) and a Sapphic or Achillean book doesn't necessarily fit this, so use recs lists if you aren't sure.

With this in mind, for the "More than One queer identity" prompt, this is meant to mean one queer MC who has multiple labels and for expert mode one gay MC with multiple labels. Some examples: a gay trans man MC, an asexual gay man MC, or an aromantic nonbinary MC for standard mode, rather than multiple queer identities in the book

For Prideopoly specifically. Novellas are around 160 pages. We will accept up to 200 pages for this one. OR if it's marketed as a novella then that works.

What if I DNF a book? You will have to choose another book to complete that prompt

What if I don't want to complete a prompt? That's ok, you proceed to the "reading slump" square on the board and try to "get out" as normal through £50 fine or rolling a double/12

What if I don't know an identity flag that is listed? I have provided a key in the "how to play" section

I read this book already for one prompt, but it counts for another, can I count it twice? No, one book per prompt please!

Is there a minimum page limit for books read? Not for this challenge unless specified, just read whatever you are comfortable with.

Do audiobooks count? Of course, always.

Can I read more than one book at once? Of course! but the later books you finish won't count until you have read the earlier prompts you landed on

I don't know what to read for this prompt? Don't worry, I have lots of exciting collaborations lined up for you and will link them in the recommendations table, so there'll be plenty to choose from

I don't have social media to complete the social media prompts, so how do I do them? That's ok as well, there is an option to link a storygraph review or an image but it doesn't have to be attached to social media.

Do I actually have to go to a drag show? No, not for this game, it is not intended to be literal.
